How it works

Two-way email sync links an individual Gmail inbox with Hoop. Sent one-to-one email appears in Gmail, and incoming mail from an existing contact can appear in the matching Hoop conversation.

From Hoop

Hoop email to Gmail

An individual email sent from Hoop can appear in the connected Gmail Sent folder.

Into Hoop

Gmail reply to Hoop

An email from an existing contact can appear in the matching Hoop conversation and contact record.

Before you connect

  • Bulk and workflow email use the account-level sending provider, not this personal Gmail sync.
  • Gmail applies a 500-message daily limit to individual email.
  • Incoming sync behavior depends on the sender matching a contact and the mailbox permissions.
Authentication
Open the user profile, choose Email two-way sync, select Gmail, and approve the requested Google permissions.
Account requirements
A Google account with Gmail enabled and a Hoop user profile that can connect a personal mailbox.
